Position Description
The product & program marketing team, as a part of the Zayo’s Strategic Alliances group, aims to create solid and compelling marketing programs to increase revenue attributed but not exclusive to with Zayo’s New Logo Accounts, Alliance Referral Partners, Channel Partners, and Cloud Service Providers. The Senior Strategic Programs Marketing Manager leads a team responsible for marketing in order to increase lead volume and sales with accounts within Zayo’s strategic programs.
This individual will lead demand generation efforts in order to utilize targeted sales, marketing, and product resources to create new connections, provide valuable content, and open the door for meetings with prospect accounts. He or she will support Zayo’s Alliance Referral program by providing targeted marketing resources to accelerate alliance partner contract signatures and increase revenue from existing alliance partners. They will lead marketing efforts to build mind-share and drive revenue with Channel Partners by increasing awareness of Zayo’s brand and products with top Master Agents, Sub Agents, and Direct Agents. Finally, this individual will help to develop deeper partnerships with major Cloud Service Providers in order to increase Zayo bookings through referrals from CSPs.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of marketers focused on Demand Generation, Program Marketing, and Partner Marketing
Collaborate between multiple marketing, sales, and product functions to align and execute the campaign strategy for new logo accounts
Gather best practices, document resources, and create playbooks for scaling out high-impact marketing initiatives
Coordinate, scope, and identify resources needed to execute marketing programs built to increase awareness, drive demand, and build additional pipeline
Set and manage team goals and measure KPIs ensure programs deliver appropriate ROI
Craft and create messaging to resonate with target audience for four strategic programs
Plan and carry out marketing strategies to increase sales, bring in new customers, and retain current customers within four strategic programs
Collaborate with various partners on joint go-to-market programming including coordinating collateral development, demos, joint webinars, blogs, social media plans, and events
Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
Establish tracking and analytics with sales teams to understand how our inbound and outbound marketing impacts customer acquisition
Engage cross functionally with various other marketing teams at Zayo including Digital, Events and Corporate marketing functions to achieve the desired outcomes
Qualifications
Marketing project management experience with multiple complex stakeholder groups at multiple levels of marketing and sales
Ability to lead internal and external cross-functional teams
5 -7 years of marketing experience
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Experience managing strategic technology partner marketing relationships
Experience in digital marketing, marketing campaign and program operations, program management, or marketing operations
Ability to balance team expectations, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization of cross-functional work
