Sr. Manager, Engagement & Retention
TMGA is looking for a curious and analytical Director of Engagement & Retention. The purpose of this role is to assist in providing strategic direction and execute on comprehensive mobile engagement programs in order to drive user loyalty, improve funnel conversion, and reduce churn within our clients’ apps. The Director of Engagement & Retention will oversee all engagement marketing campaigns (e.g. push, email, in-app message), A/B testing, implementation of CRM vendors, and other tactics that a client may utilize to engage their existing user base.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage data to understand clients’ user conversion funnels, LTV/CAC, and cohort behavior in order to design influential marketing campaigns that will improve app behavior or reduce churn
Paid media efforts to engage and drive users back into clients’ app experiences on networks like Remerge, Jampp, Criteo, Liftoff, etc.
Identify and create key lifecycle marketing campaigns with appropriate creative and copy across channels like push, email, in-app message, and social
Work closely with clients’ product and marketing teams to implement CRM tools and collaborate on key lifecycle campaigns (timing, frequency, creative, and messaging)
Drive and monitor A/B and multivariate experiments to optimize key performance metrics
Report and present findings and recommendations to client and greater TMGA team
Have a deep understanding of the mobile engagement marketing ecosystem: CRM, analytics and data automation vendors
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, marketing, advertising, economics or related field.
2-4+ years of marketing or relevant business experience required
Experience with email marketing
Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication
Passion for mobile apps and driving their growth
Project management skills to initiate and drive efforts to completion, working with a large number of stakeholders across a company
Willing to relocate to Denver, CO.

Paid media marketing experience
Strong experience with HTML
Experience working with multi-channel campaigns across email, push and in-app through CRM vendors including (but not limited to): Appboy, Leanplum, Iterable, Salesforce, etc.
