Position Summary 

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing leader to join Adobe at a pivotal time in our company's journey to help build, define, execute and optimize our new global demand centers of excellence to power the future growth of our the $3B+ Adobe Experience Cloud business. We are seeking a hands-on player as well as an empowering coach, who has a strategic, results-oriented mindset to support end-to-end marketing technology and database strategic planning, operations, systems and support for our global marketing organization in every region around the globe. 

This leader will be maniacally focused day in and day out on not only building the engine, but obsessively working to constantly optimize the value and efficiencies it enables for the business at every stage of our lead-to-revenue process. The Sr Director of Marketing Operations and Technology will report directly to the VP of Global Marketing for Adobe Experience cloud, acting as a key right-hand advisor to that leader. 

As a part of this leader's efforts to build out a new COE, he/she will focus on daily on driving the MarTech strategy, and building a world-class marketing technology operations team. Additionally,

this leader will be responsible for leading and driving to execution the implementation of the end-to-end marketing automation platform of Marketo across multiple lines of Adobe's enterprise business. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage execution of the implementation of a new marketing technology stack across Adobe Experience Cloud, including the optimization and global roll-out of deploying Marketo as the new marketing automation platform at the core of the martech stack. 
  • Manage all technology requirements and maintenance needs of key marketing systems across the stack including core solutions and other technology partner integrations (marketing automation, CRM, analytics, chat, etc.) used to generate and capture demand for the business. 
  • Manage, grow & optimize health of the marketable database for all audiences and stakeholder team types that are served today or will be served in the future by the Experience Cloud business. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, implement and continuously optimize lead scoring and attribution models 
  • Provide guidance, best practices and governance to centralized and/or decentralized teams on usage of the marketing technology stack to optimally drive business growth. 
  • Create scalable and relevant training and documentation for marketing, sales, and SDRs/business development reps on existing technologies, processes and best practices. 
  • Define a holistic marketing database management strategy that supports data unification and access across our internal systems, ensures data quality, and enforces governance and measurement. 
  • Evaluate new technologies and capabilities in-market and provide scalable framework to drive technology & process innovation that can improve marketing team contribution and overall business performance on an ongoing basis. 
  • Build and lead team of world-class marketing technology and operations experts in a new center of excellence where marketing operations acts as the true heart and soul of growth for one of the largest technology companies in the world. 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years Marketing Operations Experience 
  • 8+ years leadership experience 
  • Expertise deploying Marketo 
  • 5+ years leading a Marketing Operations Team

Location

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
