About the position
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to plan, execute, measure and optimize digital marketing campaigns and inbound and outbound marketing automation. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical thinker who can deliver compelling content at the right time and through the right digital channel to drive higher customer and prospect engagement. This role understands personas, segments and digital marketing metrics to deliver appropriate, ROI-driven tactics. You will understand how to utilize and optimize marketing technology to drive customer engagement and ultimately revenue growth. You will have strong digital, analytical and organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position responsibilities
- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
- Market through various channels and segment databases working with large data sets
- Develop business cases for marketing programs and make recommendations on marketing tactics
- Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, LTV and retention
- Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
- Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
- Work with the other marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Certifications preferred in Google AdWords, HubSpot Content Marketing, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, HootSuite Social Media, Digital Marketing Institute Certification, SEO, Marketo, Google Analytics, YouTube Certification
Expertise & experience
- Experience building complex digital marketing programs and reporting on the results
- Exposure to digital and direct response marketing
- Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
- Ability to manage and keep content consistent across multiple programs and teams
Competencies
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
- B2B experience preferred
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
- Experience with the following software/tools: Marketo & Salesforce
