Sr. Agile Marketing Operations Manager
GHX is looking for an Agile-experienced, growth-oriented marketing program operations leader to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role is instrumental in optimizing the discovery and delivery of marketing projects across multiple business units at GHX. You will lead our efforts to enhance project prioritization and continuously improve our marketing effectiveness through orchestrated program management that localizes customer-focused work in the business units and drives greater agility of corporate marketing shared services teams. Responsibilities:
- Lead our continued transformation toward an effective and efficient Agile Marketing Organization:
- Develop and formalize an Agile approach to marketing program operations from the ground up, including process and standard artifact development, meeting and ceremony cadence and leading change management across the GHX marketing community.
- Build, manage, and deploy our intake and prioritization criteria and establish the marketing team's operating rhythm.
- Drive our quarterly and annual OKR planning process, working closely with corporate marketing shared services and Business Unit (BU) product marketing teams to align priorities, strategies and determine execution cadence.
- Design, execute and create processes to enable scale, and monitor capacity to help optimize the marketing organization.
- Maintain the centralized calendar of all marketing activities including campaigns and events.
- Ensure adoption and governance of marketing team values, behaviors, tools, and processes. Continuously improve our standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the successful delivery of marketing projects by tracking plans, managing shared-service capacity and timelines, and acting as centralized traffic management.
- Help drive initiatives and projects through the Agile process to completion with an eye on business goals.
- Facilitate backlog creation, refinement, prioritization, and capacity planning and ensure Corporate Marketing and BU Product Marketing teams are following the best practices to optimize delivery.
- Manage shared-service team capacity and proactively identify when vendor outsourcing will be required to ensure timely delivery of marketing projects.
- Establish agile practices and ceremonies such as sprint and reflection meetings and attend them to ensure accurate tracking of goals, projects, and shared service team alignment.
- Maintain accurate centralized, cross-team campaign execution calendars.
- Regularly communicate priorities, establish campaign cadence, and identify blockers or risks.
- Define and review workflow visualizations and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate retrospective meetings to uncover hidden causes of dysfunction.
- Attend daily standup meetings to ensure they're meeting the team's needs.
- Work with marketing leadership to negotiate working agreements with non-Agile departments.
- Onboard new team members into the Agile process.
- Transition leaders from traditional to Agile roles and ways of working. Answer questions and support the team during transitions.
- Determine, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team's success.
- Help create and maintain the Marketing Success playbook that centralizes and normalizes processes, campaign templates, best practices, and establishes overall 'How we work'.
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced with Workfront, Asana or other project management platforms.
- Analytical, data-driven, with a strong bias towards action
- Always seeking to understand the bigger picture and executes flawlessly and with high attention to detail
- Extremely organized with exceptional time and cross-functional team management skills
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills who has experience building and maintaining strong relationships across a matrixed organization or within a marketing shared service model
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and seamlessly manages multiple priorities through change
- Able to juggle multiple projects effectively, and stay calm under pressure
- Adept with facilitation skills, able to collaborate, plan, execute and follow-up on meetings at the team and stakeholder levels
- Creative problem-solver willing to try new things with a pivot or persevere spirit
- Tech-savvy and proficient in project management software tools
- Excited by data and facts that drive decisions to optimize our team
- Extremely familiar with marketing campaign lifecycle

Required Experience:
- 5-10 years' experience in project or program operations management for marketing
- Bachelor's degree
- Agile certification or experience in Agile project management required
Estimated Salary for this position: $109,813-$125,500The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
