We’ll look to you to manage the technical on-page SEO elements, content, and importance of links, working with standard tools of SEO and keyword research implementation.  You will lead and work closely with regional leads and marketing leads to execute the content strategy centrally.  You’ll test, learn, and use a continuous optimization approach to scale learning success along with ensuring accurate social taxonomy to measure performance to refine and assess results.  You will collaborate with external social agency partners to ensure they are on-strategy, creatively excellent, and exceed benchmarks for effectiveness. You’ll co-lead with social content and community management leaders to globally identify and execute high-impact and high-value publishing strategies.

For such an exciting role, you will have 5-8 years of Social media experience that includes SEO, taxonomy, technology, and associated social tech tools, along with experience in managing digital and social teams with direct social media experience and content strategy implementation.  You will have a bachelor’s degree in a related subject.  You will be a subject manager expert in social content and platforms that include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. You will be an expert with integrated Social marketing tactics and strategies that provide high engagement and loyalty. You will have demonstrated excellent social media etiquette and moderation skills along with analytical skills.

Annual base salary gross:  $92,401 - $167,523. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include short term incentives, health insurance (several options to choose from), accident and life insurance, access to the best in class learning and development platforms, to name just a few!
