We are presently in search of a sharp, success driven individual to join our growing digital marketing agency in the heart of LoDo.

As a Social Media Advertising Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, optimizing, analyzing and managing advertising campaigns for our clients, using a mix of paid search, display, social, and video, depending on individual client needs. You will be responsible for paid media campaigns across social media platforms. We’re looking for a data-driven individual who is passionate about digging into campaigns to understand performance. You will bring to the table a high level of experience working with analytics as well as an understanding of social media platforms, design and creative, as well as copywriting. In your role, you will work closely with the entire digital marketing team to make a direct impact on the company and its client’s marketing objectives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop campaign strategy across multiple platforms in line with client goals
  • Manage and launch campaigns across multiple search, display, social and content marketing networks
  • Analyze and optimize all aspects of campaigns to achieve maximum ROI
  • Design tests to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports detailing account and campaign performance
  • Manage campaign budgets, ad rotation, bids, match types, etc.
  • Create ad copy and make landing page recommendations to improve client conversion rates
  • Coordinate and execute paid social media strategy for company and clients alike
  • Planning, analysis, relevant research, support, and grow paid social media campaign activities and assist with any services as needed
  • Assist in testing creative ad copy, messaging, and identifying top performing campaigns
  • Analyze performance metrics of deployed campaigns to drive learning and optimization
  • Perform regular maintenance and budgeting on active accounts; optimizing for improved performance
  • Collaborate with team members to develop advertising strategies for social channels.
  • Keep assets organized, up-to-date, and accessible
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude about the company with team members and clients alike
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Social Media Advertising Specialist, Media Buyer, or similar role
  • Strong skills and experience in marketing with a focus on social media ads, including but not limited to Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Story Ads, Snapchat Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, etc
  • Deep familiarity with social media channels and management tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see trends and opportunities
  • Familiarity with copywriting, advertising techniques, and social media marketing
  • Ability to successfully manage large and complex paid search accounts across multiple channels
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with social media and paid media accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, and proven ability to meet deadlines within tight timeframes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
  • Excellent time management, general organizational skills and possess a self-starter attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; present ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner

Desirable skills and capabilities:

A Social Media Advertising Specialist who will play an integral role in executing client and internal level social media initiatives. The Social Media Advertising Specialist is an expert on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other leading B2C platforms. This role executes all aspects of social content, including conception, writing and editing, consulting with creative and content team members, publishing, and monitoring. The right candidate absolutely has a passion for analytics, is able to use social listening to mine for trends, and is always looking for ways to optimize content performance.

Skills and traits that are particularly useful include:

  • High level of comfort with long- and short-form, and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics
  • Knowledge of working with web analytics tools (Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics), social media marketing applications (SproutSocial, Canva, etc.), and leading social media monitoring platforms
  • An understanding of search engine optimization, including strategies, best practices, and current trends
  • Comfort with speaking about/advocating for social media marketing at both internal and external meetings and events, and as part of your organization’s content initiatives (i.e., willing to become a cheerleader for organizational change around content)
  • A love for numbers, data science, and marketing strategy
