Social Media Ad Strategist
We’re looking for a talented, strategic ad strategist who can drive results on multiple channels but also help our team and our clients understand social advertising performance.
WideFoc.us is seeking a detail-oriented social ad strategist to assist in driving business goals for our clients on social media channels. The position is contract to start with potential to join the team as a full-time employee in 90-120 days, with PTO and health insurance benefits.
Responsibilities:
Work with our clients and community managers to determine goals and priorities for social advertising campaigns - fan base, engagement, website clicks, lead generations, etc. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
Determine which platforms and ad strategies will be most successful to meet client objectives
Look at content weekly to determine on-page engagement priorities for each client
Help community managers with appropriate ad copy and photos that will perform best with ad objectives
Conduct frequent A/B testing for each client to determine which ad styles are returning optimal results
Read data weekly to determine what needs to be adjusted and what is performing well
Analyze data at the end of each month and use findings for client reporting and to inform objectives for the following month
Meet regularly with community managers to inform them on ad progress and train them on building and optimizing ads for each client
Content responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
2+ years working in Facebook Ad Manager
Intermediate or better experience working in advertising accounts for Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest
Must have experience creating high-performing ads and building campaigns from scratch
Intermediate or better experience working with marketing data; able to analyze the data in a way that tells a story and informs future advertising decisions
Skilled in reporting and breaking down data for community managers and clients to explain the “why” and the “what happened”
Experience managing both daily and lifetime budgets, as well as overall campaign budgets, to fit each objective
Advanced understanding of ad objectives and products on social channels, and which will work best with each client
Ideal candidates will:
Have experience in using social media tools for business, including developing and managing social media ad for a range of priorities
Have previous client and account management experience
Be a team player; must be patient and a good communicator and have experience working with all personality types
Have the organizational and time management skills to run ad campaigns across multiple channels for 20+ clients each month

Work design and compensation:
Our ad strategist enjoys a high level of flexibility in the design of the position's workflow. Pay will be determined according to the candidate's qualifications and ability to manage a complex role. This is a 90-day, contract-to-hire position. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive health benefits package and earn PTO.
