Social Community Manager
Convercent is looking for a multi-talented community builder to help engage more people in our vision to “drive ethics to the center of business for a better world.” This position will be responsible for activating our entire community of ethics and compliance leaders, both online and offline through a combination of social media, events and PR. The ideal candidate has a background or interest in activism, political campaigns, PR and/or B2B software and can bring a healthy dose of creativity to social campaigns.
The majority of your work should be focused around social media and driving value to our audience and our marketing organization, which means successfully balancing multiple goals of increasing awareness and driving revenue. We are agile and things move fast so you will need to jump in and get started right away. This is a great opportunity for the right person to have a real impact on the world and grow with the support of a dynamic and experienced team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Social media strategy and execution
- Creating authentic engagement & channel growth
- Increasing leads and revenue -Growing our LinkedIn Community
- Building and engaging our influencer list
- Testing and identifying the best types of content for our audience
- Driving traffic to our website
- Managing our PR agency
- Organizing and managing our in-person events
- Mobilize Convercent executives, sales, and social evangelists
Desired Skills/ Experience:
- 3-5 years social media experience
- Good written communicator
- Comfortable on camera
- Self-starter with excellent follow through
- Ability to communicate with executives and media
- Can thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Creativity & curiosity - driven to experiment and learn
Nice to have:
- Video experience, scripting shooting and/or editing
- B2B Social experience
- Photoshop or image editing
- Crisis communications experience
- Event management
