SEO Manager

Remote in the U.S.

 

About the Role:

JumpCloud is seeking a SEO Manager to help refine, shape, and lead our SEO strategy. Organic acquisition is critical to our growth and success, and management of our SEO strategy is key to getting the results we are targeting.

 

The ideal candidate is an SEO expert who can provide leadership in this domain. You live and breathe the art and science of SEO and have a proven track record of results. You thrive in an analytical environment, are not afraid to get into the weeds, and are comfortable operating in ambiguity and autonomy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Refine and Own SEO Strategy: Refine and lead the strategy of how we use SEO to drive customer acquisition. This includes off-page SEO best practices, Content SEO best practices, technical SEO, and anything else necessary to grow the organic portion of our acquisition funnel.

  • Project Management of SEO Initiatives: This includes discovery and strategy formation, prioritization, implementation, and analysis. Work with the necessary teams and provide project leadership to get initiatives successfully completed. Prepare and present reports on progress, successes and areas of improvement.

  • Work Cross Functionally with Marketing, Analytics, Web Development and More: Work across the various teams needed to implement SEO to drive organic acquisition. This includes pushing projects and initiatives, as well as learning from the rest of the teams to better your craft.

  • Manage Performance of Organic Acquisition: Develop and oversee the KPIs related to organic traffic and our SEO strategy that drive organic acquisition. You should be a results oriented individual who wants to see growth as a result of your work.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of SEO management

  • Expert on both the technical aspects and content strategy of SEO

  • Proven track record of driving acquisition through SEO

  • Expertise with SEO Tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, MOZ, SEMRush, etc) and web analytics tools (Search Console, Google Analytics, etc)

  • Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methods

  • Highly driven and self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy and driving initiatives

  • Knowledge of Wordpress and ability to implement optimizations

  • Ability to work effectively with the web development team

  • Analytically minded and measurement driven

  • Ability to operate in a strategic capacity with limited supervision

Where you’ll be working 

All our roles are remote in the U.S. unless otherwise specified. Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote (in the U.S.), work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role is $80,000-$120,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. JumpCloud provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan. We have an unlimited vacation policy.
