Great Dental Websites is currently seeking a SEO Manager to manage team of SEOs for a dental marketing agency. The right person is organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in white hat SEO tactics.
We’ve helped almost 700 dental practices market themselves online, with services ranging from simple websites to full-service, ongoing marketing. Great Dental Websites has tripled its staff and doubled revenue in the last year, and we don’t see any signs of slowing down. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add new staff to our team to ensure that all clients are receiving the same level of attention as when we had our very first few.
The right candidate would be joining a group of intelligent, hard working professionals. The group operates as a team, so you must be willing and able to lend a hand when needed, offer proactive ideas to improve the functionality and processes, and take feedback and suggestions from other members and company leadership team. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and constantly focusing on scalability and growth. You are constantly thinking of ways to ethically stay ahead of changes with search engines and monitoring the performance of the team to ensure they are acting in the best interest of our clients.
This position is a new role being created within the Marketing Services department and would assume day to day management of the existing team. This is a full time, salaried position. Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years full-time SEO experience focusing on local businesses
Minimum 2+ years successfully managing a team
Proven ability to manage ongoing SEO campaigns in competitive areas
Proven experience with testing and implementing new strategies and ideas
Thorough understanding of technical SEO
Experience with dental or medical fields a major plus
International SEO experience (Australia, New Zealand) a major plus
Skills include:
Extremely strong knowledge of Google Applications (Gmail, Drive, Analytics, Webmaster tools, etc)
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical parties
Solid understanding of other areas of digital marketing including PPC, social media, and email marketing
Ability to set and meet deadlines and motivate team to do so
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
Ability to identify areas of improvement, including time-saving measures and existing areas of redundancies or inefficiencies
Experience working with developers to apply SEO rules and business logic to software a huge plus
Daily Duties:
Staying up to date with trends and changes in SEO, experimenting with and testing new ideas on an ongoing basis
Planning strategic campaigns for clients
Evaluating struggling campaigns and coaching employees on areas to improve
Identify and planning improvements for processes and software, including department operations and software changes to our platform and utilizing new tools to improve department
Strategizing department growth and long term goals with Director of Marketing Services
Working with other department leads including Accounts, PPC, and Development to improve day to day operations and long term goals
Managing operations of team of 8-10 SEO employees
