About this Position
This is a full time marketing at a growing startup with generous benefits and competitive salary. This position is a remote position; if you’re in Denver that is preferred, but we will consider candidates from anywhere in the United States.
The SEO manager’s mission is to bring the DA of Let’s Roam from around 40 to 60+. They will create and implement data oriented SEO strategies, build a SEO team, and build a team that creates new content and wins high value links consistently.

Position Description
Create and lead an outbound link building strategy (40%)
Generate at least 100 links a month for less than $200 a link
Lead either in-house or contracted individuals and ensure performance
Manage a streamlined blog content creation strategy (20%)
Create a content calendar that leads to consistent month over month organic traffic and revenue growth
Determine article ranking factors
Manage written content and ensure consistent performance
Identify SEO improvements and opportunities for organic growth in both web and native app properties, analyzing data from sources such as Google Analytics, Search Console and request logs (20%)
Develop monthly/quarterly dashboards, reports, financial models, and tools to help monitor SEO performance and drive optimization (10%)
Increase the technical success of existing and new articles through optimizing blog structure, search extensions, site-linking structure, and keyword content (10%)
Competencies & Requirements
Requirement: At least 3-5 years SEO agency experience or experience leading an SEO team
Requirement: Be part of a team that has seen significant large-scale success (e.g. DA improving from 40 to 60)
Management experience (either contractors or internal teams)
Experience managing or working on an outbound link building strategy
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and/or similar enterprise analytics tooling
Basic SQL knowledge
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence cross-functional partners by leveraging data and insights
A strong interest in the evolving search landscape
Optional: Advanced degree in a quantitative field
Optional: Management consulting, or Product Analytics experience at another technology firm
Optional: Data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Optional: Programming language: python (pandas, matplotlib, NumPy), R
