Overview

Are you bright, driven and excited by opportunity? Are you a world-class product marketer, able to be both a technologist and storyteller at the same time? Do you enjoy the challenge of translating challenging technical topics into language that’s easy to connect with for a broad variety of audiences? Interested in joining an expanding team of technology professionals who are fundamentally changing how businesses communicate with their intended audiences?

The FWI Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to take on the challenge of clearly articulating, through market-facing collateral and our website, how our intended customer’s pain points map to the business value of our solutions, along with a detailed double click down on our product’s use cases and differentiating features. The successful candidate for this role will also drive effective product launches, ensuring the market understands how we have increased the business value of our products and services, and interface with customers, press, analysis, and other interested parties to tell both the FWI story and the business value story of what we have created.

This position will lead a team of individual contributors, as well as contributing to the success of our business individually. The role is located in our Denver, CO office, and reports to the Director of Product Marketing. This role includes an estimated ~20% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulate our offer, its business value, how it answers customer pain points, and how it is unique and differentiated from competing offers through top quality marketing content.
  • Focus on execution, impact, and measurability – continually refactor efforts to improve.
  • Maintain a continual connection to our customers and prospects through such vehicles as interviews, focus groups, and interaction with the press/analyst community.
  • Create and maintain awareness of competing offers in our market, and how we stack up.

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Unparalleled ability to execute efforts including (but not limited to) market sizing, market segmentation, customer persona definition, messaging/positioning development, competitive positioning, pricing, packaging, product launches, and market research.
  • Results orientation with strong ability to create high quality, customer-facing content including web content, presentation material, solution briefs, and sales enablement collateral.
  • Proven ability to quickly understand complex issues, and make difficult things easy to understand for others.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with sales and product teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of change.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience in product marketing, partner marketing, or product management.

Helpful for Success:

  • Experience working in a high growth software startup environment
  • MBA preferred.
  • Pragmatic marketing certification a plus.

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
