Senior Marketing Manager
Overview:
BillGO is looking for an experienced marketing and corporate communications professional to join our team as our Senior Communications Manager.
Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, you’ll assist in developing and managing content across the enterprise. This will require you to understand what drives engagement throughout all touchpoints of the marketing funnel and customer journey.
The ideal candidate will have experience writing both print and digital materials, including blog posts, web copy, B2B and B2C materials, and social posts, as well as internal and external communications that reinforce and promote brand messaging.
Additionally, the candidate will need to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment where they will be asked to collaborate and work independently.
After getting up to speed, you’ll be generating content for the web as well as marketing campaigns, thought leadership, customer outreach, and channel marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Communications, overseeing an omni-channel content strategy that reinforces and strengthens BillGO’s market presence
- Align the content strategy to ensure a consistent brand voice and tone, establishing consistently high levels of content execution across the buyer’s journey and customer lifecycle
- Effectively communicate content strategy with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders
- Partner with Marketing & other internal team members, third-party agencies and others, as needed, to ensure BillGO’s brand standards and copy guidelines are adhered to across the board
- Work with executives across the enterprise to create thought leadership materials and establish executives as thought leaders in the Fintech space
- Craft, source and curate strategically chosen content vehicles that engage key buyer personas and solve specific customer challenges
Skills/Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, marketing communications, brand management and journalism. Fintech experience would be a plus.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and researching skills. A bachelor’s in journalism, marketing or communications is preferred
- An understanding of news writing best practices and working knowledge of AP Style.
- Developing digital content from the ground up, building omnichannel content campaigns for both demand gen and customer retention initiatives like social media and online advertising.
- Ability to dive in and successfully manage multiple projects at once, using best practices in content management while meeting strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and build effective processes and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to find effective solutions among diverse opinions
