Job Description

Brandfolder is seeking an experienced Marketing Leader to join our fast-paced team. The mission of the Senior Director, Marketing is to build a world class marketing function and team at Brandfolder. One that is capable of positioning the company as THE leader in Digital Asset Management through a combination of world-class demand gen, content marketing, product marketing and messaging that enables sales and drives revenue.

You will inspire the most recognizable brands in the world, like TripAdvisor and Slack, by providing tools and strategic insights that increase their brand engagement. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company. Is that you? 

Base salary range for this role to be between $166,520 and $217,120. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive annual bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. Here’s a little more on what we’re seeking:

Top level objectives include:

  • Build a lead generation machine! Create and maintain a modern and robust demand generation engine at Brandfolder. Work side by side with sales to drive the revenue funnel, maintaining steady lead flow, identifying and improving lead conversion, and tracking analytics / ROI in support of these efforts.

  • Take a leading role in defining the strategic planning and positioning for Brandfolder 

  • Drive all outbound marketing functions including branding, public relations, social media, community, web strategy, advertising, trade shows, meetups, webinars, events, collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design and content.

  • Leverage all appropriate channels to amplify Brandfolder’s brand and market perception in a disruptive, fresh and modern way.

  • Lead, mentor and grow a world class marketing organization, appropriate for the company’s maturity and size, leveraging a mix of internal and external resources as needed.

  • including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning. “Who is Brandfolder in the Digital Asset Management and brand software segments and why do we matter?”

  • Manage Brandfolder’s digital/online marketing machine, including website analytics, pay per click advertising, search engine optimization and search engine marketing. 

  • Plan and manage the company’s marketing spend; be fully accountable for defining and managing the Marketing budget.

  • Mobilize and empower Brandfolder’s community of users and advocates.

The Senior Director, Marketing will report to Steve Baker, General Manager, and will work from Brandfolder’s headquarters in Denver, CO. This leader will serve on the leadership team, alongside the heads of product, revenue, customer experience, human resources and finance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7 - 10 years technology marketing experience with a majority in the B2B / SaaS domain.

  • Experience building and managing highly effective lead generation engines, ideally with exposure to a range of GTM environments including high velocity, classic field marketing, as well as upsell and retention initiations.

  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives.

  • Substantial experience developing brand strategy and content to differentiate a product within a competitive space.

  • Ability to plan and manage marketing teams and initiatives at both the strategic and operational levels, leveraging data and ROI-driven analysis to support decision making and recommendations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment.

  • Depth in Marketing Ops leadership, including prior experience selecting, deploying, and using marketing technology applications.

  • Experience in a high growth environment is a plus.
