Senior Channel Marketing Manager

We’re seeking a high caliber Sr. Channel Manager Lead to join the marketing team to take us to the next level.
As PlayerLync’s Senior Channel Manager, you will be a key team member responsible for driving revenue growth through partners, particularly working very closely with Apple to uncover opportunities for Sales. This is a high visibility position that focuses on growth revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand audiences and competitors to become a data-driven expert on our buyers, our solution and how to drive opportunities through Partners
- Collaborate with everybody – Sales, Marketing, Operations, Development, Product Management, Finance, Customer Success, Analysts, our Customers and Prospects. They all bring insights and therefore you’ll want to know what they think
- Create and execute GTM plans working closely with partners, including segmented marketing plans, messaging, training, presentations, event execution and demand generation.
- Create content (e.g., white papers, product videos, website copy, blog posts, webinars) to support progression along the Buyer Journey (Sales and Partner Enablement)
- Provide strategic guidance to the development of marketing programs, product-level selling presentations, collateral, and product content
- Stay up to date on Partner processes, Sales initiatives, industry dynamics and competitors
- Track key metrics and create detailed and dashboard reporting for Partners and PlayerLync executives. Analyze data and make GTM recommendations. Create reports and insights based on key performance indicators and metrics. Then tell us what’s working, what’s not, and how to improve.
- Create process improvements through data and feedback from Partners, PlayerLync Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams
- Create quarterly business reviews with Partners to show program effectiveness, issue tracking and key areas to improve overall results
- Not only understand the buyer journey, know how to communicate most effectively at every stage and touchpoint. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes to continually make us a better resource for the market.
- Maintain all marketing collateral and PlayerLync applications related to Partners, including competitive intelligence database and analyze win/loss intel with Sales to constantly improve our positioning and win ratios
- Produce and maintain all marketing materials for our Partners including sales collateral, case studies landing pages, email campaigns and other materials as required
- Construct Partner Demand Gen campaigns that include inbound, outbound and ABM tactics
- Help us identify and break into new market segments, working closely with the Product Management team.
- An understanding and mapping of buying cycles across large enterprises
Requirements
- 3 years working with Apple or with an Apple partner supporting Apple
- 8+ years of Channel experience with at least 2 years of experience working in a high growth SaaS company
- History of successful enterprise selling directly and through channel partners
- Successful track record in enterprise software sales
- Familiar with marketing automation tools - specifically HubSpot, SF.com, Google Analytics, and ABM software like Engagio, DemandBase or Terminus.
- Analytical, but capable of translating data insights to business actions
- Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and senior groups
- Possess a highly analytical approach, used in a wide range of responsibilities
- Experience/Skills to develop effective relationships and interact with senior leadership.
- Assertive team player and leader with the ability to positively influence without direct authority to drive deliverable
- Ability to take complex ideas and simplify them
- MBA preferred
