Customer Retention Marketing Manager - Udemy Business
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Udemy Business is the learning platform of choice for leading global organizations with ‘off the charts’ customer satisfaction scores. As our customer base grows rapidly, we are looking for a marketer with a track record of creating retention marketing strategies and driving business results. You have experience with B2B subscription models and evaluating KPIs such as renewals, churn, and lifetime value.
The Retention Customer Marketing team at Udemy for Business is passionate about nurturing our customers, building loyalty, and helping organizations drive business outcomes through Udemy. In addition to joining this amazing group of Customer Marketers you will partner with internal cross-functional teams to get a strong understanding of our customer needs with a specific focus on deepening retention and building loyalty.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute an omni-channel global retention marketing strategy in close partnership with product marketing, regional teams, customer success, and product.
- Understand customer behavior, segmentation, churn data and use learnings as a key input into strategy and tactics.
- Partner closely with Customer Success to segment, prioritize and create compelling, enablement content to illustrate Udemy value for each customer group.
- Lead, test, and execute on targeted retention campaigns - scaled for SMB & Mid Market customers and personalized ABM for larger Enterprise customers.
- Develop strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align goals, strategy, content, and plans to create an engaging and cohesive customer experience.
- Create plans for the customer research and data analytics we might want to do to gather new customer insights for key personas.
- Collaborate with data & product teams to define and measure key actions, high-value customers and help develop a platform experience to support retention.
- Work with technical teams to build marketing platform readiness for scale.
We're excited about you because you have:
- 7+ years in B2B marketing with at least 3 years in a Customer Marketing role.
- Passion for nurturing, engaging, and growing customers.
- Experience in Retention and Engagement Marketing.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to inform, encourage and rally cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing initiatives.
- Successful track-record of developing multi-channel marketing strategies, executing, measuring performance, tracking and analyzing data.
- An analytical approach evaluating customer data and qualitative insights and turning it into actionable plans that improve, scale, and optimize our customer retention, and LTV.
- Skills to think big picture and simultaneously execute on E2E project execution partnering with diverse stakeholders.
- Natural ability to connect and build relationships with team members and customers alike
- Project management skills including: conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations.
- Experience building and scaling ABM programs and global experience is a plus.
Salary range $111,000 - $135,000 Equity + Benefits (See Below)
