Job Description – Regional Marketing Specialist

 Division / Department: Marketing

Reports to (position): Director of Marketing

Level / Grade: Individual Contributor

Location: Denver

Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Work Conditions: Office Environment

Travel: Up to 20%

Telecommute: No

Minimum Educational Req:  Two or four-year college degree, or equivalent combination of education and  experience, in the area of marketing or a related field

Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar or related position

 

Position Summary:

The Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the marketing and communication plans in specific markets. This role is responsible for planning, executing, tracking, and reporting on all marketing initiatives for both business and consumer channels.

 

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for the entire region, coordinating with field sales personnel and corporate marketing on a regular basis

  • Execute the company’s strategic plan and ensure all regional communications appropriately represent the needs of The CE Shop and multiple product lines

  • Design and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy for multiple major markets, leveraging existing marketing automation and ecommerce platforms while working with internal teams to execute strategies

  • Implement and track activities, adjusting as needed to maximize revenue while routinely reporting back on effectiveness and results to Sales and Marketing leadership

  • Work collaboratively with internal Marketing team, Regional Business Development Executives, and other cross-functional roles

  • Collaborate with analytics’ team on findings and complete a monthly review of all advertising and results

  • Provide input on priorities and identify roadblocks while being solutions-minded and offering ideas and opportunities for growth

  • Track and benchmark marketing spend and forecast, looking for optimization, growth, scalability, insights, or retirement opportunities
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with marketing planning and execution in multiple markets

  • Proven background related to product launches, brand marketing, advertising and communications programs

  • Project management experience

  • Incredibly detail-oriented, with a passion for accuracy and quality

  • Proven record of creativity in professional settings

  • Excellent communication skills
     

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not supervise the work of others.

Internal and external interaction:

This position interacts with peers both in and out of department and their immediate manager on a regular basis. They may interact with customers and vendors directly in escalation or support situations in a large geographical area. They may interact with managers in other departments.

 

Skills Required:

  • A working knowledge of and desire to learn more about the ins and outs of the real estate industry

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously

  • Self-direction, tact, and diplomacy

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with internal and external contacts

  • Ability to work well under pressure and according to deadlines

  • Ability to turn creativity into solid marketing solutions

  • High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite of products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Google platform (Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, Hangouts, Google Analytics)
