Public Relations Manager
The Corporate Communications team is looking for a seasoned PR Manager who will primarily be responsible for executing high-impact, metrics-based and integrated public relations programs focused on increasing GHX's brand value in the eyes of the market and creating continuous market anticipation. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will closely collaborate within the Corporate Marketing team as well as cross-functionally with the Product Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Legal teams. You will oversee several dedicated outcomes-driven PR programs for GHX's various Business Units, running point on developing the strategic direction and managing day-to-day operations with our PR Agency of Record. An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, quickly building trusted working relationships, has a proven background in balancing strong, strategic thinking with tactical execution and will be exceptionally organized. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Marketing teams within the Business Units to create and execute PR plans that are aligned to their Marketing plans and the Business Unit's objectives
- Establish realistic expectations and ensure stakeholders are consistently informed of program status and results
- Partner with GHX's PR Agency of Record to build and execute integrated plans that align resources and create a consistent cadence of PR opportunities, elevating the GHX brand among key opinion leaders
- Work with Sales and the Customer Marketing team to mine compelling customer stories that elevate our customers' reputation and demonstrate the business impact GHX solutions deliver to customers
- Monitor, analyze and merchandise PR results to key stakeholders
- Support media training and speaker preparation as needed for subject matter experts
- Help navigate and address evolving issues and other reactive PR situations as they arise
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience managing several high-priority PR programs with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- A proven track record of aligning communications with commercial objectives and generating results and influencing business impact through PR strategies
- The confidence to engage and build consensus with leaders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of a particular need
- An ability to package data in interesting ways to create steady drumbeat of news and thought leadership opportunities
- Experience using research and industry insights and best practices to drive strategies and tactics
- Incorporate analytics and metrics in planning and evaluation of external communications activities, taking a data-driven approach to communications efforts and counsel
- A passion for creative, compelling storytelling that creates impact across multiple channels
What You'll Need:
- 5-7 years in public relations or corporate communications
- An entrepreneurial spirit, the confidence to make sound recommendations to leadership and a diplomatic nature
- The ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Good judgment and the ability to respond quickly, yet thoughtfully to urgent PR matters
- A stubborn resolve to troubleshoot blockers to success
- A solid understanding of the media landscape and relevant PR topics and trends
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills for a variety of short- and long-form pieces
- Outstanding oral communication skills – including comfortability with presenting to leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to communicate complex topics effectively
- A growth mindset – a willingness to experiment, iterate and improve
- The ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment

Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Corporate and agency experience preferred
- Experience managing PR agencies
- Subject matter expertise in healthcare and/or supply chain
- Experience with crisis communications and issues management
- Experience using various PR monitoring and measurement tools
Estimated Salary range for this position: $80,000-$102,000 The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
