As we continue to grow our product portfolio we are looking for an ambitious and creative individual to join our product team as a Product Marketing Specialist. This position requires a high level of initiative, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and the drive to assist our senior Product Managers throughout the entire product lifecycle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for a career path towards becoming a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering product and price competitive data from the sales team then consolidating and sharing that information across the Product team.
- Ownership of product price list updates. You’ll ensure our growing list of skus are accurate and updated across all systems and marketing material.
- Create documentation, screencasts and other content for internal teams and clients
- Assist with the oversight of competitive materials, Marketing support materials, as well as customer presentations
- Help coordinate Product team activities; meetings, internal communications, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Support Spectralink and partner sales teams with customer events.
- Generate and analyze data about products, services, and market trends sharing with product managers making recommendations.
- Working in a collaborative team environment helping support the senior Product Managers every step of the way.
Desired Skills and Background:
- 1-3 years working in a product centric organization. Some experience with Product Management and/or Product Marketing would be helpful but not required.
- Interest in technology and working for a hi-tech company
- Experience with Excel and other enterprise software systems (i.e. Oracle)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects
- Experience in researching and understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends
- Strong communicator with the confidence to present ideas and plans clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
- Experience collecting and using data to inform decisions.
- Ability to participate effectively and build consensus in a cross-functional team
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results with little oversight or direction
- Flexibility – Ability to change direction based on team and stakeholder feedback
- Morning person – You’ll have to work with our Product Manager in Europe so having some overlap is important
- A Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Marketing degrees preferred)
Travel: There might be occasional travel <10%.
