Job Summary

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be an individual contributor responsible for the outbound marketing activities for NetApp HCI based solutions including Private Cloud and End-User Computing. You will craft the messaging and positioning for your solution and create customer and partner facing materials that align with the buyer’s journey. You'll work with a cross-functional team to conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive awareness and demand for your product. You will also work with other regional teams to understand how to effectively market your solution globally.  As PMM for this alliance driven solution, you will also collaborate with counterparts at other technology companies, as you jointly bring this solution to market.  

You will need to understand converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, storage, switching, compute, virtualization, management software, hybrid cloud strategies and emerging trends such as containerization, software defined, and as-a-service offerings. You will need to understand the concerns of enterprise buyers, such as data center and cloud architects, as well as line of business executives.

Your ability to communicate clearly and work closely with a wide range of people from engineering to product management, channel, field, demand generation, social media, events, enablement, alliances, and executive leadership teams will ensure your success.

Your attention to detail, including project management, budgeting, reporting, and managing agencies and vendors, will also be important to your success.

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
