As Convercent’s Product Marketing Manager you are responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment & communication, tracking toward launch milestones and overall readiness for all Convercent releases (products, services and GTM campaigns) with a goal of having each release make as much impact on the market as intended.

You report into the Product Marketing team, but you are responsible for working with teammates in Product Management, Marketing, Demand Gen, Sales Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal from release inception through market readiness. You work with Revenue, Product Management, Professional Services and Customer Success to define and execute a winning go-to-market plan, including release schedules, deliverables, handoffs, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics. You ensure all internal departments understand their role in releases, facilitate communication of release readiness, anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, provide escalation management and advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to and establish an environment where they can be effective, focused, and successful.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work cross-functionally to define and execute a winning go-to-market plan.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans and track the deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies from the cross functional launch team while reporting them up for visibility.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, and provide escalation management throughout new product launch.
  • Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to ensure they have the support needed to succeed.
  • Act as a servant leader and attentive cross-functional facilitator within the company.

Key Responsibilities  

  • You are a program owner and have the drive and skills to project manage cross-functional teams and initiatives through execution and launch.
  • You have business acumen and operational fluency to establish rapport and exert influence at every level of the organization.
  • You are invested in and committed to increasing efficiencies and accelerating time to value throughout the launch cycle.
  • You are organized, analytical, and driven to collaborate – with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation.
  • You have exceptional communication, presentation and writing skills, with an understanding of technology but fluent in the language of business.
  • You exhibit individual accountability and independent project management for tasks without close supervision.
  • You possess solid technical knowledge and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a related field or role (project management, product marketing, product management).
  • Domain expertise in JIRA, Monday.com, similar project management software desirable.
  • Understanding and experience with Agile product delivery practices highly desirable.
  • Comfortable in identifying critical path items and working with competing priorities, limited resources and within tight timeline constraints.

Compensation and Benefits: 

The salary and variable compensation ranges provided here are just that—a range! The offer that is ultimately extended is based on level of experience, skillset, certifications, and education. 

  • Compensation: $95,000 - $130,000 base salary 
  • This position includes unlimited time off, comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), monthly tech stipend, company-paid sabbatical at five years of service, and stock options.
