About the Job

As the Sovrn Product Marketing Manager for //Commerce, you will create and execute breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns and communications programs that will directly drive our revenue growth. You’ll be in charge of planning, implementing, and managing full-funnel creative campaigns that engage targeted users throughout their buyer journey and convert them into new Sovrn customers or help them better understand how Sovrn can continue to help solve business problems through upsell and cross sell. You’ll help define (and even write) copy, content, digital advertising, landing pages, email strategies, and digital experiences working with our in-house designers, developers, product, sales, content strategists, and marketing automation. You’ll also collaborate on overall web marketing, digital analytics, and more.

About the Team

As a member of the Marketing team, you will be on a small but growing team responsible for managing and growing Sovrn’s marketing presence. We love to collaborate, be hands on, but also think of what is possible. Since we live on the emerging edge of what’s possible, our team is made up of people who love to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work collaboratively with //Commerce sales and product teams to determine quarterly marketing goals and build marketing plans
  • Own plan creation, budget management and execution for key segments of the overall //Commerce marketing strategy 
  • Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, dependencies, duration, and performance measurement requirements
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team including digital design, email, content, and events marketing to build and test best-in-class marketing programs. 
  • Quickly identify solutions and create contingency plans as issues arise to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Maintain campaign performance reporting, highlighting successes, failures, trends, and opportunities.
  • Work with the creative team to make sure all performance marketing creative assets are built effectively as well as gather learnings to improve them

This successful candidate will have:

  • BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in field or corporate marketing in high-tech company
  • Experience in campaign management and ROI reporting 
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices 
  • Experience managing and deploying organic and paid media, SEO, in-person/virtual events, email marketing campaigns and webinars
  • Manage different marketing channels from beginning to end (strategy, planning, execution, budgeting, analysis and optimization). Some of the channels would be affiliate, direct mail, partnerships, insert media, podcasting, OTT and more
  • The ability to be highly proactive and independent, as well as the initiative to improve existing programs and processes
  • The desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and the ability to work with anyone in any department
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively
  • A strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit

Bonus Points:

  • Google Suite, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce, WordPress, Jira
  • Base level understanding of the advertising tech industry

Compensation and Benefits

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $85,000 to $110,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.
