Product Marketing Manager
The Position

Uplight is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a 6-month contract to become a product evangelist for one of our product lines, helping us meet our sales targets by effectively demonstrating the value of our products to the market. The ideal candidate must be analytical and able to conduct quantitative analyses, but also good at synthesizing and telling a captivating story to different audiences. Managing projects that include working cross-functionally is essential. Experience with utilities or energy efficiency is strongly preferred, but not required.
What you will contribute:
- Understand and support our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
- Extract key insights from in-depth analyses of our market and solutions, synthesizing and packaging for internal teams while also incorporating into market-facing collateral
- Develop narratives with supporting proof points demonstrating the value that our products bring to our clients, including not only the “what,” but the “why,” “how,” and “so what,” in the form of case studies, presentations, marketing collateral, and more
- Contribute to the go-to-market strategy through market research and competitive analysis
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization including but not limited to Product, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, eCommerce, Reporting, and Data Science
What you bring to Uplight:
- 2+ years experience in marketing or working with utility energy efficiency or similar programs
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Passion for storytelling and impact
- Familiarity with energy efficiency, demand response, and electric vehicle programs preferred
- Team player with the ability to work toward a common goal across all departments and levels

Hourly range: $40.00hour to $48.00/hour (Rate dependent on experience)
6month contract
