Job Description

Unified Practice is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced team. As the sole product marketing manager, you’ll be responsible for diligent competitive analysis, creating compelling messaging, positioning, and sales materials, and training our internal teams on key messaging and exciting new features.

You’ll work with passionate holistic clinicians and their staff providing healthcare to their communities. By helping build the tools and strategic insights that increase the value we provide to our clinics, you can make a difference for small health clinics all over the US. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, lends an empathetic ear, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of holistic healthcare practitioners and their clinics through surveys, interviews, and analysis of product usage data

  • Develop and maintain the company’s messaging, positioning, and value propositions

  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer for the marketing and sales team

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, preside over product launches, and ensure that user adoption goals are set and realized.

  • Collaborate with product, design, content marketing and other key stakeholders to ensure the broader team is aligned toward and executing on our strategic vision

  • Lead competitive analysis and competitive positioning initiatives

  • Develop compelling campaigns and content for our customer segments

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of our customers to understand where the greatest opportunities for revenue expansion lie, and develop buyer personas based on them

  • Conduct ongoing win/loss interviews to understand the nuances of our product messaging and awareness, buying process, and/or customer churn

  • Influence the product roadmap by continually refining your understanding of the market and customers we serve

  • Develop market and customer experience requirements for the product and ensure requirements are being met at each stage of the product development lifecycle

  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop demand generation and lead generation plans

  • Perform product presentations for internal and external audiences

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in a product marketing role at a B2B SaaS company

  • Successful track record launching or growing SaaS products

  • BA/BS, ideally in Marketing

  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills

  • The drive to own high-impact projects from day one

  • A strong desire to continuously test and optimize any and all marketing channels

  • Analytical thinker and experience in data-driven marketing

  • Empathy and ability to connect with customers

BONUS POINTS:

  • MBA or consulting experience

  • Intermediate design skills

  • You’ve been the first product marketing hire at a growing startup

  • Experience working with holistic healthcare practitioners or clinics a plus

Our customers run their entire business on our software - which means it’s critical that we understand their needs and are creating the best product on the market for their clinics. We achieve that goal by hiring the best people. We want smart, innovative thinkers, builders, and doers because everyone we hire will have the ability to influence our team’s processes and even drive change across the whole company.

We promote from within, which means we hire smart, passionate, dedicated people who show up for our customers and their teammates as much as for themselves. We want your experience working at Unified Practice to be something you can look back on later in your career as a pivotal place where your passions were nurtured, the projects you worked on steered your career forward, and you received high quality mentorship.
