The Product Marketing Manager sits in a unique position pivoting between product, sales, and marketing. The desired candidate believes in the power of marketing and market insight to introduce people and businesses to technologies and products that will solve real world problems.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing content and strategies that drive awareness and adoption of Cloud Elements as an integration platform. Success of this role will be demonstrated through pipeline creation and revenue.

Being able to assess and act upon analytics is key in driving continued results. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager must have the interpersonal skills to work closely with the Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Sales teams.

NOTE: A record of success in, and knowledge of SaaS, APIs or Integration product marketing environments, while delivering measurable results, is highly sought.

This position reports to the VP of Marketing and is based at our global headquarters in Denver, Colorado. 

What you will do: 

  • Strategic vision to articulate go-to-market strategy, and the “do-what-it-takes” mindset to execute against this strategy.

  • You will seek deep understanding of your customers and are adept at understanding their problems and arriving at elegant solutions to those problems. You thrive in front of customers, partners, and analysts and use every external interaction to help inform your product decisions.

  • Deep understanding our products, buyers, competitors and markets to develop messaging, positioning and campaign strategies.

  • Determine the appropriate methods and metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness across customer lifecycles.

  • Architect and deliver product marketing content to be used across all pipeline stages.

  • Work closely with Product to conceptualize, build and execute effective go-to-market campaigns aimed at driving adoption, conversion, and ongoing engagement with Cloud Elements.

  • Create targeted messaging and positioning documents and for customers.

  • Create, launch, and analyze new programs and promotions to encourage adoption and drive revenue.

  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of APIs and Integration.

What we want you to have: 

  • BA/BS required in Marketing or a related field.

  • 3-5+ years of highly relevant experience in software technology product marketing.

  • Growth stage company / start-up experience; ability to pivot and change as the company rapidly grows.

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.

  • Track record of meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing workloads in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated examples of crafting positioning and developing supporting messaging (e.g., sales presentations, data sheets, press releases, etc.)

  • Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills.

  • High attention to detail, organized, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • History of teamwork and willingness to take an all hands on deck approach to get the job done.

  • Experience with integration and API management platforms, a plus (e.g. Mulesoft, CA, TIBCO, Apigee, Dell Boomi, etc.)
