The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a Broker Product Marketing Manager to join our incredible Marketing team in Denver, CO.

You’ll drive growth and adoption of DAT iQ specific to the broker segment, including the Top 100 Enterprise customers in the industry, the backbone of the DAT network and it’s supporting products.

DAT sits at the intersection of commerce, providing North America’s largest freight marketplace to fuel the movement of freight throughout the supply chain. DAT iQ is our industry-leading transportation data and analytics platform, providing rate and capacity analytics, performance benchmarks, custom reporting, and APIs, all powered by the deepest, most representative data in the industry.  

The ideal candidate has proven experience driving marketing strategy to accomplish strategic business goals and a passion for delivering great customer experiences. This is your chance to evangelize DAT’s suite of SaaS analytics solutions for the Broker segment, serving as DAT’s voice of the customer to transportation and logistics departments at Fortune 500 enterprises.

Candidate profile

  • Proven track record in B2B product marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated success developing compelling product launches and go-to-market plans.
  • In-the-weeds experience developing customer experience requirements for SaaS products.
  • Success building sales enablement tools that highlight competitive advantage and create wins.
  • Expert marketer who knows how to use analytics and insights to create differentiated product positioning.
  • Deep knowledge of the sales process, and how it aligns with product marketing strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Create B2B marketing strategies for DAT Broker target segments, products, and services.
  • Set goals and build demand generating campaigns based on data and analysis.
  • Drive product positioning, messaging, branding/naming, etc.; lead beta programs.
  • Successfully collaborate with the Marketing team, as well as with partners in Sales, Customer Success, Product and Finance.
  • Support sales channels to increase market share, volume, and product profitability.
  • Define market research, develop deep insights, and put KPIs in place for key analytics.
  • Interface with MARCOM to develop demand and lead generation plans.
  • Work closely with demand generation to hone campaign strategies that align with key broker market events, trends, and product launches.
  • Maintain alignment with Product teams throughout beta, limited availability, and general availability product stages, creating product-focused content where appropriate.
  • Create high-impact messaging that inspires people to take action.
  • Create a Customer Advisory Board, own content creation and drive customer engagement.

The Skills You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience in SaaS, or marketplace, or platform businesses.
  • Excellence in developing go-to-market campaigns that drive market share.
  • The ability to tie customer intent to product marketing plans that ensure business results.
  • Background in SaaS marketing is a must.
  • Experience developing offering and monetization models and product forecasts.
  • Analytics; the knowhow to define and access metrics, and to convert data insights into action.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to create synergy with Sales and Marketing.
    (This role does not have any direct reports, but management experience is preferred).
  • Supply chain, logistics, or freight industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

(Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $110,000, plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
