Summary
As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Growth you’ll be accountable for driving the growth of emerging use cases and solutions globally, from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will be a full stack product, solution, or growth marketer with a passion for building go-to-market strategies from the ground up. We’re looking for an executor with an entrepreneurial spirit who thinks differently about product marketing and growth.
Responsibilities
- Be the GTM leader for building new markets and launching new solutions at Workiva
- Serve as the right hand for our growth solutions team and drive use case, solution, and business model strategies and critical metrics to measure success
- Drive high impact use case and solution launches to demonstrate innovation in the market and ultimately drive revenue growth
- Develop cohesive, outcomes-oriented launch plans and be accountable for the performance of new use cases and solutions in market
- Drive the messaging and positioning strategy to accelerate the growth of emerging use cases and solutions globally
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, customer success, and operations take new use cases and solutions to market
- Collaborate with other marketing teams to develop and execute cross-functional go-to-market discussions and actions through launch
- Develop compelling and easy to understand content for sales, marketing, customer success, operations and others including messaging guides, presentations, sales training, competitive content, whitepapers, FAQs and other collateral
- Drive customer, market, and competitive research to guide positioning, messaging
- Package insights to inform and influence our growth roadmap and find product market fit
- Define our ideal customer profiles across emerging solutions, including upsell and cross-sell targeting and ensuring our sales team is well equipped to win deals
- Generate data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, design and execute A/B tests, and help go-to-market teams separate signal from noise
- Set clear and measurable metrics, and foster a “test and learn” approach to continually improve performance
- Take on substantial go-to-market decision-making authority with an understanding of the consequences in terms of impact to our customers and our business
What You'll Need
- B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, business, or similar area of study preferred
- MBA or MA or equivalent scope of experience preferred
- Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from the buyer and end user to executive management.
- Successful track record collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams
- Exceptional data and analysis skills
- Proven skills to identify new and better ways to drive the business
- Extraordinary listening, communication, and program management skills
- 8+ years of experience in roles relating to marketing, product marketing, and growth
- Experience in the technology and/or SaaS sector preferred
- Track record of building high growth marketing programs
- Experience launching new products, use cases, and solutions globally
- Experience in finance and accounting, audit, consulting, or financial services
- Up to 25% travel
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
Base Pay Range in Colorado: $165,000- $204,000
Discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
401(k) match
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
