Platform Operations Specialist

As a Platform Operations Specialist, you will master the digital workflow across the GMP suite to provide end-to-end campaign fulfillment and provide ongoing support to ensure project requirements are completed to client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in campaign trafficking, ad operations, and a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
This Role:
Reports to the Manager of Platform Operations
Help lead the creation of new standard operating services/procedures for ad ops across the GMP stack
Collaborate across departments to coordinate and manage - platform operation project deliverables
Strives to meet all deadlines while delivering quality and exceptional service
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing all Platform Operations related task work across the Google Marketing Platform
Assist with kicking off Platform Operations projects, outlining deliverables, communicating timelines, executing project delivery, preform quality assurance etc.
Execute campaign implementation according to insertion orders details and schedule
Deliver regular communication to internal & external stakeholders related to status and performance
Provide ongoing operations support to ensure successful campaign execution delivery
Participate and contribute to status meetings, team updates, and client calls/meetings
Assist with other duties such as pulling reports or special projects as needed
Proactively escalate issues and communicate potential challenges to the Manager of Ad Operations and appropriate stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
2+ years in an ad ops role at a digital agency, advertiser, or ad technology company
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and Impeccable attention to detail a must
Strong time management skills
Professional and advanced skills in Excel
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask to achieve excellent customer service
Strong issue resolution and problem-solving capabilities
Hands on experience with ad serving systems and platforms strongly preferred
Ability to thrive and in a cross-functional team environment and be a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in preferably Marketing or Advertising; and two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with online media buying and selling, advertising technology solutions, and ad network business models a plus
Enjoys Fast-Paced, Deadline Driven Environment
Google Marketing Platform certifications and/or advanced knowledge of at least one GMP product
Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects assigned to the team
