This role is responsible for leading the strategy, planning and buying of Personal Capital's media across direct publisher buys. This role will be responsible for finding new publisher opportunities across digital and offline channels (included but not limited to digital native, mobile app, social media, audio/ podcast, print). This role is remote.
Responsibilities
- Finding and evaluating new media channel opportunities to drive qualified users
- Planning of new marketing channels and existing direct publisher buys. This will include budget ownership and allocation, as well as managing both mobile and desktop acquisition campaigns (creation, day-to-day management, ongoing experimentation, measurement and reporting) and external partners.
- Continuously generate ideas to improve Personal Capital's campaign performance including campaign strategy, new audiences, creative optimization, bidding and new tests.
- Recommend tests and ensure alignment across other digital marketing channels.
- Partner with Analytics to refine tracking and measurement and develop channel specific dashboards and reporting tools. Implement best practices or onboard necessary third-party measurement or optimization partners.
- Develop plans and timelines for other future channel expansions (mobile ad networks, DSPs,etc) and onboard technology platforms needed to expand
- Establish reporting and benchmarks for performance to present to leadership teams on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, required
- 5+ years of performance marketing experience
- Technical and skilled hands-on buyer with experience in platform experience (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ad Words, Apple Search or programmatic DSPs), mobile app marketing, native advertising
- App Store Optimization experience is a plus
- Possess strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills, have a passion for data driven decision making, thrive on challenges
- Composed/collected in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment
- Strong track record of scaling acquisition campaigns and hitting targets
- Well-versed in overall growth and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills. Ability to work between teams, functions and geographies, with high autonomy and little guidance
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to concentrate, talk and hear. This role is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read, write, listen, verbally communicate, present information, respond to questions, problem solve, concentrate and tolerate stress. Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
