Since 1998, SambaSafety® has been the pioneer and leading provider of driver risk management software in North America. Our mission is to guide our customers including employers, fleet managers and insurance providers to make the right decision at the right time. By collecting, correlating and analyzing motor vehicle records (MVRs) and other data sources, we identify driver risk and enable our customers to modify their drivers’ behavior, reduce accidents, ensure compliance, and lower costs — ultimately improving driver and community safety.
What You’ll Do:
SambaSafety is currently seeking a Partner Marketing Specialist based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters. As the Partner Marketing Specialist, you will immerse yourself in building strategic relationships with our channel partners and encourage them to replicate our messaging and programs to increase partner sales of our product. You will work closely with the Channel Partner sales team to refine a tiered partnership program, define marketing’s role with each partner, and be responsible for developing and executing partner-specific marketing programs.
This role is a member of the demand generation team and is focused on increasing channel partner revenue through marketing support.
Success in this role requires both the ability to have regular strategic planning conversations with our partners and tactical “get it done” marketing know-how and attitude. Previous agency marketing or account management experience is encouraged.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Refine and implement a tiered partner marketing program with defined marketing support at each tier.
- Develop, drive and implement joint marketing plans with our highest-tier partners.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with partners
- Support partner events and manage partner marketing communications
- Develop partner marketing tools and ensure that partner programs meet marketing objectives.
- Evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements.
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years of marketing or agency account management experience
- 1+ years of experience with a B2B software company, preferably in marketing or account management
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- Proven ability to understand technology and explain to multiple audiences
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams and third parties
- Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills
- Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
- Track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects and consistently delivering on time
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
