Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Partner Marketing Manager to join our Denver-based marketing team! As a crucial member of a high-performance team, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing and collaborating heavily with the Supply and Sales team, this role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the future of a fast-growing brand and product. This role’s primary goal will be driving and developing strong partnership and co-marketing programs with suppliers and other partners. This individual will help build and shape a world-class, revenue generating marketing engine!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own co-marketing and sponsorship program for Hotel Engine suppliers and partners
  • Plan and manage integrated digital marketing strategies that build brand recognition and drive new opportunities in our supplier and partner networks
  • Lead ongoing research exercises into partner personas and untapped partnership opportunities through interviews, surveys, focus groups, industry data, etc.
  • Collaborate with supplier relations and brand team to develop partner positioning and messaging that resonate with our target personas.
  • Develop and manage Partner Marketing roadmap in collaboration with Supply and Sales leadership
  • Create internal and market-facing content such as case studies, videos, landing pages, articles, and blog posts to support and grow Hotel Engine’s partner network
  • Develop and manage event strategies for supplier and other partner industries
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels, including empowering partners to adequately co-market the Hotel Engine brand
  • Demonstrate deep partner knowledge and be the voice of the partner across functional teams at Hotel Engine
  • Act as a thought leader for the hotel and business travel industries externally, including speaking engagements and written content in partnership with Supply team leadership
  • Understand and support supplier relations process and channels; train supplier relations managers on messaging, strategies, and campaigns; develop internal tools and external collateral to enable successful supplier team operations.
  • Develop a co-marketing and partner social media strategy across multiple platforms, including community management, content planning, editorial calendars, and sponsored posts in partnership with the digital marketing team.
  • Support and strategize Public Relations efforts with partners
  • In collaboration with marketing operations, manage and optimize analytics and attribution for all partner campaigns
  • Define, document, disseminate, and manage Hotel Engine partner marketing best practices, processes, and SLAs
  • Manage vendor, partner, and agency relationships, as needed, with a strong bias for results and performance

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of partner and/or channel marketing, ideally working across digital, demand generation, and brand awareness initiatives
  • 4+ years of experience managing partner relationships
  • Experience in corporate travel software, hotels, and/or travel management industries a major plus
  • Exceptional communicator, including public speaking, facilitation, long and short-form writing
  • Experience with event and channel marketing
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with and/or leading creative projects from concept to launch
  • Understanding of Account-Based Marketing principles a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe suite and/or other graphic design tools
  • Experience in productivity and collaboration applications such as Microsoft Office, Asana, Slack, etc.
  • Familiar with marketing automation and analytics tools like Marketo, Google Analytics, etc.
  • High EQ with excellent people and leadership skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Experience in a start-up or other high-growth environment
  • Demonstrates a healthy balance of pragmatism, optimism, and scrappiness
  • Ambitious professional with a deep, unrelenting passion for partner marketing
  • Entrepreneurial type that thrives on building something from scratch and isn’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone to get things done
  • High integrity and accountability, effectively prioritizing to meet and exceed deadlines with high quality, low-error work
