Job Duties and Responsibilities

The future of television is here — Sling TV.  Internet television or vMVPD is rapidly evolving and will reshape how we watch TV.  We are the future of live and on-demand streaming video, a pioneer in internet-delivered television and the mobile access of entertainment. We are seeking a Partner Marketing Lead – Strategic Partnerships to evaluate and acquire new marketing partnerships #1 Live Streaming TV service in the US. This is an exciting position within our fast moving team here in Denver, Colorado that requires the ability of candidates to hit the ground running. This role is an important part of our expanding partnerships with streaming device manufacturers such as Roku and Amazon and could provide an excellent stepping stone for future career advancement within our Marketing team. Primary responsibilities:

• Identify unique opportunities within the retail partner’s ecosystem (in-store/ online/ print/ social) to promote the Sling TV service and drive activations and ultimately high valued subscribers. 
• Communicate regularly with the retail partners
• Understand marketing tactics and offers that resonate with retailers’ audiences
• Work with internal teams (analytics and creative) to create offers and messaging
• Promote Sling TV on various retailer platforms (in store, website, social, email, print).
• Develop promotions that utilize programming events (show/sports events) and seasonal events including back to school and holiday

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful candidate will:

• Be organized, proactive, and collaborative; exhibit excellent data-driven decision-making skills
• Develop deep, constructive relationships with retail partners and influence them to support marketing efforts with limited to no additional expenses.
• Be creative in identifying efficient and effective tactics that drive activations.
• Tailor strategy and tactics to individual retailers to maximize activation efforts; operate with only high-level guidance.
• Work cross functionally with marketing, programming, operations, IT, finance, and national accounts teams; have a proven track record of results-oriented success.
• Have bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
