Blue Moon Digital, Inc. is seeking a Paid Search Strategist to be part of our agency. The PPC strategist will be responsible for creating, maintaining and analyzing campaign performance data, and defining, executing, and monitoring effective online paid search marketing strategies, as well as assisting in the development of ongoing departmental strategies and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develops strategies for paid search, shopping and product feed optimization
- Creates and refines internal and client-facing performance reports
- Performs in-depth analyses of marketing campaigns
- Provides frequent progress reports regarding online marketing efforts and performance metrics to clients
- Presents paid search, shopping and product feed optimization recommendations to managers, clients and prospects
- Writes copy for paid search ads and keeps it up to date and in sync with clients' on-site offerings
- Actively manages keyword bids to meet client ROAS objectives
- Manages landing page optimization and tracking URLs
- Develops target keyword lists
- Monitors search advertising for accuracy
- Performs competitive search analysis
- Research and present current industry trends and developments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years’ experience in a client-facing position (e.g., account management, client management, and client support or business development)
- Must have experience (2+ years) with Google AdWords, AdCenter, and Gemini; retargeting and display advertising a plus
- Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications a plus
- Excellent Excel skills
- Quantitative analytical skills and aptitude a must
- Strong software use skills including in-depth knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools
- Familiarity with conversion tracking methodologies
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics)
- Familiarity with 3rd party bid management/campaign management tools a plus (DoubleClick Search, Marin Software, Kenshoo, etc.)
- Some familiarity with the basics of web design helpful
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
- Exceptional problem-resolution skills including the ability to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
- High comfort level using the internet as a research and/or shopping tool
