Revenue River is looking for another Paid Media Strategist. We’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals with technical paid search and social amplification experience. Prospective candidates should be able to demonstrate their paid media experience and detail past client work. Candidates should be comfortable executing omni-channel advertising campaigns within a host of industry software platforms. A prospective team member should have a strong understanding of who we are, and what the agency life requires.

As a Paid Media Strategist, you will be responsible for the research, strategy development, campaign build out, analysis and optimization of client’s paid media campaigns. You will be required to analyze performance data of campaigns, identify opportunities for improvement, and execute strategies for quantitative results. Paid media strategy, optimization, and performance reporting will be critical components of this position.


Job Responsibilities 

  • Research of competitive paid search landscape to craft best practice strategies.
  • Manage both on-site and off-site SEO for a diverse host of clients.
  • Perform audience research to develop new campaign ideas for paid search and paid social.
  • Generation and testing of paid media ad copy for search, social, and display network.
  • Manage day-to-day performance across several pay-per-click media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google AdWords.
  • Day-to-day optimization and monitoring of assigned accounts, with a specialized focus on direct response and performance.
  • Communicate specific creative requirements necessary for the campaign to campaign managers and content specialists.
  • Analyze key performance data (top of the funnel to bottom) within managed PPC channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes to paid media best practices.



Relevant Competencies You’ll Need For This Position

  • Experience in building & managing ad campaigns in AdWords, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with how digital ads are served and tracked using pixels, URL parameters (UTM codes).
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Excel especially.
  • Multi-tasking, flexibility, and the ability to consistently evaluate priorities with attention to detail
  • Google AdWords & Analytics certification is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis.


Communication Competencies 

  • Manages day-to-day client interaction & manage client expectations (internal & external).
  • Effectively communicate expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a pro-active manner, to adhere to campaign delivery goals.

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at juggling many projects at once, working cross-functionally, while never losing sight of the core message and goal behind your work.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management and marketing software.
  • Demonstrate the ability to track campaign performance across multiple channels.
  • Ability to set and run an agenda, lead pointed conversations, and keep clients on task.
