Paid Acquisition Manager

The Role
VictorOps is seeking a paid acquisition manager with experience across channels such as Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Paid Social (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook), Retargeting, and Programmatic. This person must have strong analytical skills with a background working in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. A proficiency in Excel is also required. A background in Salesforce & technical SEO would be preferred. This person would be very technical and able to strategize in a conversion first mindset. The Paid Acquisition Manager would not shy away from data and always make decisions in a data centric way. This position requires a self starter mentality and a person who thrives on collaboration and goals. They will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance, optimizations, A/B tests, budgeting, and strategy within our paid dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all digital marketing efforts across online paid channels including: SEM, Display, Retargeting, and Paid Social
- Develop and execute Google AdWords, Bing Ads, GDN, and any paid acquisition channels/tests we’re running
- Adhere to the digital marketing budget and monitor, measure, and report on effectiveness of marketing spend with the use of Salesforce reporting, Bizible, AdWords/Bing Ads dashboards, and Google Analytics
- Execute on annual revenue and ROI goals
- Incorporate strategy into tactical demands on a daily basis
- Pull analytics and sales data to make educated decisions on how to grow or optimize programs
- Reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance, including providing post-mortem analysis and key learnings from tests and promotions
- Work within a cross-functional team to evaluate, conceptualize, plan, and execute new revenue driving components of the online marketing programs
- Continuously tests new digital opportunities with current and potential partners
- Continually stays aware of emerging trends, technology, and/or opportunities for new traffic sources or improvements to existing traffic sources
- Develops recommendations for landing page optimizations and A/B tests to improve paid media conversion rate
Skills / Qualifications
- 3+ years of strategic paid acquisition marketing experience
- Strong background in data analytics, including Google Analytics
- Experience leading and managing SEM, marketing database, Paid Social, and/or Display advertising campaigns and tools used to support efforts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
- Self-motivated, proactive, positive, results-oriented approach to marketing
- Experience of multi-channel marketing strategies, preferrably B2B
- Able to see the big picture and have the ability to execute at the same time
- Comfortable collaborating with team members and working at a fast pace
