Job Title: Marketing & UX Copywriter

Hourly pay: $40-$60

The job: 

We need an incredible copywriter to join our team at Vivian. There are a multitude of important projects that we want help with! 

• Writing emails, push notifications, and SMS
• Owning newsletter copy (and coming up with some catchy subject lines) 
• Paid social, SEM, and other paid captions 
• Creative copy
• Social media captions 
• Landing pages 
• Collaborating with Product Designers and Managers to review in product copy for consistency, tone of voice and clarity
• Please note: this role would probably average about 20 hours per week

Who you are: 

• This is not your first rodeo. You have at least 2-3 years of UX writing experience, marketing writing experience, and (preferably) that you’ve worked as a contract writer before 
• It’s a cliche, but you are really detail oriented. We have a tendency to move fast, and we need a copywriter who will make sure we stay perfectly error-free! 
• You have excellent communication and time management skills 
• You feel comfortable working with a lean team to prioritize and tackle several ongoing projects at once 
• You love good copy. You probably have screenshots on your phone of great emails or landing pages that made you happy! 
• Remote-first is a breeze for you. Although some of us are in the Bay Area, our team is distributed around the country. 
• You are self-motivated and enthusiastic about the work we’re doing 

Copywriter Requirements:

• Health industry experience preferred 
• Background in creative writing, journalism, communication studies, or an adjacent field
• Prior writing experience, preferably as a freelancer 
• Portfolio or work samples you can share 
• Own a personal computer
