Position Summary

This role will be part of a highly collaborative, fast-paced marketing team, and will have broad exposure to many aspects of marketing. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting execution across marketing programs - including digital marketing, event marketing, content marketing, demand generation and programs to build brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is an analytical, data-driven problem-solver, team player, strong communicator, and is extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.
 

Primary Responsibilities
 

Project & Production Management

  • Create detailed project work schedules across departments, marketing functions and external vendors. Schedule, coordinate, monitor and track workflow to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budgets
  • Prepare and monitor budget and progress reports. Report on workflow volumes, and communicate any potential resource constraints
  • Troubleshoot issues and offer solutions to ensure projects remain on schedule
  • Reschedule projects and work with marketing leadership to realign resources based on new or changing priorities 
  • Lead cross-departmental project kick-off meetings, securing and reviewing project briefs with stakeholders, and securing assets for project starts
  • Manage creative approval process across key stakeholders, legal and compliance
  • Work across marketing functions to update and maintain all campaign, content and editorial calendars
  • Work with printing vendors to request estimates, manage competitive bidding, place orders and approve proofs

Research, Analysis & QA

  • Aggregate monthly, quarterly and as-needed reporting. Collaborate with marketing team members to create dashboards, analyze programs, and make recommendations to optimize campaigns
  • Market research across a variety of disciplines including keyword research, target contact research, and competitive intelligence
  • Support website, creative and demand gen QA and data quality programs

Asset Management

  • Maintain the Marketing Resources site to ensure content is relevant, up to date, and easy to access
  • Maintain image library - tracking rights and usage, identifying gaps, and ensuring all assets are organized
  • Create and maintain naming conventions and track digital assets
  • Manage printed thought leadership, collateral and direct mail fulfillment
  • Responsible for the posting and maintenance of corporate social media content, and monitoring of social media mentions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar, will consider equivalent practical experience or combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a business/office environment. Advertising agency experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience analyzing data using Excel and interpreting KPI metrics
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change. Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize fluidly in response to changing business needs
  • Proven ability to flourish under tight deadlines and remain cool under pressure. 
  • Strong analytical and project management skills 
  • Highly collaborative
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and high integrity
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce CRM and/or marketing automation platforms a plus. 
  • Proofreading experience a plus
