Marketing Specialist
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Marketing Specialist to join our Denver-based marketing team! As a member of a small, high-performance team, this role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the future of a growing brand. This role’s primary goal will be to support and contribute to the marketing team’s velocity, productivity, and overall success. In partnership with the rest of the marketing team, this individual will help build and shape a world-class, revenue generating marketing engine!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day social media across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and more, as needed
- Monitor and manage social media reviews, inboxes, and comments
- Create social content – videos, photos, basic graphics, etc.
- Build and launch email marketing campaigns in Marketo
- Own Google Analytics reporting and optimization
- Provide QA support for marketing team
- Manage day-to-day of Hotel Engine blog, including writing, posting, and managing comments
- Provide project management support on large, strategic initiatives
- Brainstorm new, innovative strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and expansion
- Support marketing manager(s) on execution of campaigns and initiatives to build customer loyalty, expand brand recognition, and drive high-quality top of funnel conversions
- Support sales, member experience, product, partner, and supplier teams with content and other enablement, as needed
- Design, order, and manage swag for employees, customers, prospects, and events
- Provide other ad-hoc support to marketing team members, including but not limited to list management, reporting, simple data analysis, creative brainstorming, project management, etc.
Skills / Experience / Traits
- Degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience
- 1 - 3 years of marketing experience, ideally working in B2B and/or ecommerce
- 1+ years of experience managing the day-to-day of social media, bonus points for experience running and managing paid social
- 1+ years of experience using WordPress and Google Analytics (GA certification a plus!)
- Strong writing skills with mastery of AP-style
- Basic HTML, CSS skills desired
- Basic excel skills required, ideal candidates also have mastery of more advanced features like VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Project management experience required (Agile exposure a plus)
- Experience in a start-up, agency, and/or other high-growth environment is a major plus!
