Position Summary:

The CE Shop, one of the leaders in online real estate continuing education, is looking for a Marketing Specialist to work in our Channel Sales department to assist with both our marketing plans and communicating and developing relationships within our channel sales network.  

The Marketing Specialist plans, creates, develops, and implements internal and external sales and marketing plans based on the strategic objectives for Channel Sales. This role encompasses a strong mix of traditional and digital sales and marketing methodologies and is responsible for developing strategies to support existing customers as well as identifying and marketing to potential customers through existing and new channels.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department manager to ensure all sales and marketing processes and systems operate effectively and efficiently for the sales team and management.

  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor products to identify new revenue streams and sales possibilities.

  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to support channel sales partner acquisition and partner management.

  • Manage partner communications, marketing plans, and monthly newsletters.

  • Coordinate with internal marketing team to develop and implement collateral materials, marketing campaigns, and supporting sales procedures.

  • Track and report on KPIs for all channel marketing campaigns, partner communications, and partner marketing plans.

  • Manage the logistics (booth preparation, scheduling, shipping materials and collateral, etc.) and coordination of event planning and conferences that The CE Shop participates in. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Extremely detail oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the sales and marketing fields.
  • Experience in marketing role supporting sales or account management teams

Skills Required:

  • Experience and independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines and organize a diversified workload. 
  • Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other material.
  • Handle routine and non-routine information and explain policies or processes when necessary.
  • Organize and prioritize data and information into creative and logical sequence.
  • Self-direction and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Technical Skills:

  • Above average proficiency in MS Office Suite of products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with the Adobe CC
  • Google platform (GoogleDocs, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Hangout, Google Analytics)
  • Salesforce or similar CRM Software
  • Experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation software
  • Experience with project management software

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not supervise the work of others.

Internal and external interaction:
This position interacts with peers both in and out of the department and their immediate manager on a regular basis. They will interact with customers directly in escalation or support situations in a large geographical area. They may interact with Managers in other departments.
