Minimum Educational Req: Two or four-year college degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in the area of marketing or a related field
Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar or related position
Position Summary:
The Marketing Social Media Specialist will manage all social media platforms and content. As part of the Content Marketing team, this role is responsible for delivering results related to the planning, execution, and reporting of ongoing social media strategy, interactions with customers, and paid social advertising.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a social media strategy that includes organic posts, boosted posts, and paid ads
- Manage the company’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Craft unique and compelling content for each of the above platforms
- Work with the Creative team to determine the look and feel of each social channel
- Reach out to influencers to collaborate with on The CE Shop collateral
- Work with the Content Marketing team to strategize, plan, and execute new content pieces
- Work within an editorial calendar that integrates with sales and marketing campaigns
- Respond to and manage all customer reviews across Google, Facebook, and Trustpilot
- Maintain the company voice across all mediums
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Encyclopedic knowledge of each social media platform
- Experience with a social media management tool such as Agorapulse, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
- Project management experience
- Experience within Content Management Systems (Drupal preferred)
- Incredibly detail-oriented, with a passion for accuracy and quality
- Proven record of creativity in professional settings
- Excellent communication skills
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not supervise the work of others.
