The Marketing Production Manager manages all work that flows throughout the Marketing Department and develops workflow timelines by assigning specific team members to the necessary steps required to complete the job. They optimize SLAs and processes to ensure a smooth experience for all Stakeholders. The Manager develops weekly sprints for the creative team and forecasts future capacity and communicates the implications of new requests and project delays on team bandwidth. They ensure all work is completed within the scheduled deadlines and work with Campaign Managers to adjust job deadlines, as needed, while still meeting the stakeholder deadlines. The Manager constantly monitors resource requirements and alerts the appropriate staff of outside/freelance staffing needs. They champion the project management tool and develop resources to ensure adoption. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Own the development of detailed project work plans, resource allocation, and timelines, enhancing the Creative Team production workflow. Oversee the collaborative project management tool and elevate the operational process. Intake Marketing requests, develop forecasts and team sprints, while creating schedules that ensure work is done well and is delivered on time 
  • Conduct trafficking functions to keep work flowing through the creative team; review daily workload of the creative team and adjust assignments as needed, making certain that the appropriate talent is used, and workloads are evenly maintained while ensuring that creative staff knows their priorities and deadlines 
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Client Services to resolve any conflicting priorities, ensuring the team maintains best practices and effectively meets established SLAs. Remain in close contact with the Client Service team to communicate relevant updates to stakeholders as well as elevating and identifying any areas for resource allocation optimizations 
  • Develop weekly time and workflow reports and continually optimize SLAs for accuracy and scale. Identify and resolve project workflow issues, resourcing, and process improvements 
  • Build, implement, and optimize processes across all program teams within the department (i.e.: media, video, creative, social, etc.) 

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least five (5) years of project management experience 
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience working in a Project Management tool (i.e., Asana, Wrike) 
  • Experience forecasting team workloads  
  • Strong listening skills and instinct for anticipating vendor, partner, and internal stakeholder needs 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Experience adhering to strict deadlines, while managing simultaneous projects  
  • Creative thinker and problem solver—always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks 
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with and manage expectations with internal and external teams 
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and demonstrate team leadership skills 
  • Experience learning and navigating within a high-growth and fast paced environment 

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $75,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
