The Marketing Operations Specialist develops, documents, and maintains current and future features within the marketing operations platforms (e.g., Marketing Automation, CRM, Sales Enablement, etc.).
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Develop, execute, debug, and maintain new and updated features and functions within Marketing Operations Platforms (e.g., automation programs, processes, workflow, triggers, integrations, compliance laws, user roles and profiles etc.)
- Build and maintain features and functions, based on understanding of business and technical requirements which includes development and strategic planning within the current tech stack
- Serve as a strategic partner on projects that require updates to our existing architecture; provide support by writing back-end technical requirements
- Form contingency plans and communicate recommended solutions and viewpoints related to risks and obstacles, while identifying innovative ways to capitalize on improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction (both internal and external)
- Import/export/update/monitor quality and integrity of data in marketing operations architecture
- Understand existing tech stack to identify optimizations and evaluate the onboarding of new tools
- Serve as primary system administrator for marketing operations platforms and integration points
- Manage vendor relationships for contracts, renewals, and system performance
- Draft documentation and update ongoing documentation around new and existing system architecture (i.e., process, feature, function, and workflows)
- Collaborate with team members when responding to new use cases and develop and implement new system procedures
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least three (3) years of experience working with Marketing Operations tech stack
- Fundamental working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo and their ecosystem is required
- Familiarity with the following, or similar, tools is desirable: Sendoso, Outreach, Clari, Drift, Splash, Ringlead, & Spanning
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and become proficient in new technologies and integrations
- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learnings
- Ability to determine when to escalate problems to leadership and when to carry out solutions on your own
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while being self-motivated and results-oriented
- Highly organized and process driven with an eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $67,000 or more depending on experience
