Job Summary: We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Denver-based marketing team! As a member of a high-performance team, this role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the future of an exceptional brand. This role’s primary goal will be to optimize the marketing technology stack and support the team in building a best-in-class foundation required for fast-paced revenue growth. As part of the marketing operations team, this technically-savvy individual will be the driving behind the scenes force empowering and supporting the company with technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day system, administration and configuration support for our Marketing Automation Platform, currently Marketo, survey systems, a/b testing tools, etc.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize marketing infrastructure, including lead and account scoring, data collection strategy, business rules, ABM tools, etc., in collaboration with other marketing team members, as needed, and in service to the overall MarTech roadmap
- Be the subject matter expert in marketing automation by educating and enhancing the understanding of marketing automation’s role in revenue generation across the marketing team, sales team, and the business as a whole.
- Build multi-channel marketing campaigns, programs, and assets created by and with the HE marketing team, ensuring accurate tracking, attribution, and lead flow
- Contribute to overall database health, including analyzing gaps in data while recommending practices, processes, and tools that ensure data hygiene and completeness.
- Ensures timely delivery of leads from all channels to sales whether they are integrated with marketing automation or are delivered via 3rd parties for list uploads.
- Manage development of flexible email and landing page templates for use in programs by collaborating with demand gen and design team on format
- Work with internal partners in marketing, sales, customer service, and product to quickly understand their business needs and pain points, and propose innovative technical solutions that provide flexibility and scalability
- Create and manage accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for marketing programs, including campaigns, assets, and system integrations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing technology or a related field
- 2 - 3 years experience building and executing programs in Marketo. Marketo Certified Associate or Expert a plus.
- 2+ years experience working with Salesforce strongly preferred, admin experience a plus
- 1+ years experience writing and editing CSS and HTML
- Knowledge of basic principles in marketing automation-powered campaigns, including segmentation, attribution, lead scoring, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, sender score, A/B testing, lead management, etc.
- Experience working as part of a fast-paced marketing team, B2B preferred
- Self-motivated and technically-savvy with a keen ability to prioritize multiple projects, some strategic, some tactical.
- Sense of ownership and desire to get things to the finish-line without letting quality of work suffer
- Thrives on complex problem solving and creative thinking, willing to enthusiastically “roll-up your sleeves” to drive organizational change
- Geeks out on data and diving into analytics to find actionable insights, with a curiosity to keep drilling down
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with obsessive attention to detail
