The Marketing Operations Project Manager works collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to execute project requests. They serve as a strategic partner to our stakeholders and assist with solving their business problems. The Manager works on task and project requests from initial inquiry to execution and develops project plans, contingency plans and communicate status updates.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Coordinate and manage marketing operations project execution
- Understand stakeholder business objectives and challenges, with a focus on being a consultative resource
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Effectively communicating to stakeholders and Marketing Operations team the proper expectations and requirements (e.g., slippage, scope creep, etc.) for projects, programs, and tasks; taking logistics into consideration when projects and programs overlap
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize the team’s work and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Proactively identifying and eliminating obstacles/roadblocks that may impact to project completion dates
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Maintain and refine best practices to ensure marketing operations projects run smoothly and meet deadlines
- Create/update project documentation on new and existing marketing operations processes
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years of demonstrated program and project management experience and experience using project management tools (Wrike, Jira, Workfront, etc.)
- Ability to build partnerships, prioritize projects and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and become proficient in new technologies
- Ability to determine when to escalate problems to leadership and when to carry out solutions on your own
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while being self-motivated and results-oriented
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $76,000 or more depending on experience
