The Marketing Operations Program Manager works collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to execute campaign and project requests. They serve as a strategic partner to our stakeholders and assist with solving their business problems. The Program Manager works on campaign and project requests from initial inquiry to execution and develops project plans, contingency plans and communicate status updates.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Coordinate and manage marketing operations campaign execution and roadmap projects
- Understand stakeholder business objectives and challenges; identify technical requirements and how our tech stack can assist with solving business concerns
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders and Marketing Operations team the proper expectations and requirements (e.g., slippage, scope creep, etc.) for projects, programs, and tasks; take logistics into consideration when projects and programs overlap or dovetail
- Own the team’s work and implement process improvements by merging agile and Kanban methodology with the ways of working best suited to the agile team
- Own the creation of project test plans, reporting metrics, mock-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain and refine best practices to ensure marketing operations programs run smoothly and meet deadlines
- Understand and create/update documentation on new and existing marketing operations processes and ensure we are keeping up to date with industry trends
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years of demonstrated program and project management experience and experience using project management tools (Wrike, Jira, Workfront, etc.)
- Ability to build partnerships, prioritize projects and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and become proficient in new technologies
- Ability to determine when to escalate problems to leadership and when to carry out solutions on your own
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while being self-motivated and results-oriented
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $76,000 or more depending on experience
