How you'll make an impact
This role reports to the Manager, Marketing Operations as part of the Americas marketing team. 
The ideal candidate comes from a marketing operations role in a high growth business with a global footprint. An understanding of SaaS/cloud solutions/online accounting market will be viewed favorably.
You will bring strong marketing operations and automation acumen to drive growth across all customer segments and maximize outcomes.

This is an influential position supporting demand generation across our key distribution channels that will see you become an expert in our company, our products, the market, our customers, and the competition. 
What you'll do

  • Build and develop email communications to our prospect and customer base including monthly newsletters and product launches. Support regional campaigns while aligning to global initiatives
  • Set up campaigns and test plans to maximize conversions and ROI; continuously optimize campaigns and lead nurturing journeys. Tasks include, but are not limited to: campaign creation, scheduling, list segmentation, workflow development, tracking, and reporting
  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing automation processes, procedures, SLAs, programs, technical processes, and workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Report on KPIs and campaign performance. Manage prospect and customer databases, maintain data hygiene and integrity, list uploads, target segmentation, and touch cadences
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and CASL regulations
  • Serve as subject matter expert on our systems and data flows, seek out industry best practices, and proactively incorporate relevant ideas to drive efficiencies across the business
  • Continue to build and grow our value-based culture that encourages innovation and collaboration

  • Work in conjunction with the broader go-to-market teams to achieve performance targets
  • Support the design and implementation of our demand generation activity plan and document key insights

What you'll bring with you
Critical competencies

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing operations, automation, and technology & analytics
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Understanding and working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of marketing and sales funnel and experience measuring marketing attribution
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Team player

Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding and working knowledge of SQL and scripting languages like AMPscript
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data to provide recommendations on optimization for marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills
  • Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems
