We are an exciting and rapidly expanding global business, currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our US Marketing Team with the main responsibility of assisting the team with marketing functions and initiatives, which will support the overall success of the business.

The role:

The Marketing Manager plays an important role in our growing business. The ideal candidate will help strategize and implement event, marketing, branding, and advertising plans, with the primary goals of driving awareness, increasing customer engagement and lead generation. The Marketing Manager must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects while meeting tight deadlines. We’re looking for someone who can think through scaling our audience and also has a keen eye for how to utilize event and advertising channels to amplify marketing and sales goals.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is expected to demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, integrity, marketing competence, and a desire to grow as a professional. A creative mind, strong analytical skills, and the ability to take initiative will be keys to success in this role.

Essential responsibilities and duties:

  • Plan and execute in-person and online events that build simPRO brand awareness and accelerate pipeline development for sales
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, objectives, messaging, contract negotiations, vendor relations, site selection, agenda planning, and logistics
  • Build and execute a comprehensive advertising strategy with industry association partners and publications
  • Research and understand different audience segments and build an events and advertising calendar to support each initiative
  • Develop relationships with industry associations and publications, and seek new partnerships that align with brand goals
  • Forecast, evaluate, measure and report on marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Create and manage the event and advertising budget
  • Ensure effective and efficient two-way communication between marketing and sales teams
  • Support an environment of collaboration by interacting with people at all levels of the organization, across multiple functions to develop and execute relevant and impactful campaigns
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Work & skills requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or related role 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate
  • Experience with CRM systems, email marketing and/or marketing automation tools, previous use of Salesforce and Pardot a plus
  • Experience building and managing budgets
  • Experience creating efficient processes, clear expectation setting and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to set priorities and build a strategy across the customer journey 
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, personal responsibility and ownership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to travel to events as needed
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% and move about the office up to 50% to access files, cupboards and the equipment storage room
  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office productivity machinery
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 20 pounds

Helpful for success:

  • Experience with CRM Salesforce a plus
  • Proficient with Google Suite a plus
