ABOUT THE ROLE
Metric Theory is looking for a Marketing Manager to join a team that has been nationally recognized as a best place to work by Inc., Entrepreneur, Ad Age, and more to lead content and demand generation marketing programs. As we continue to build a reputation on redefining what a data-driven digital agency means to digital-led businesses, you'll create global impact by launching both tried-and-true and innovative methods of introducing the world's most disruptive brands to Metric Theory's customer acquisition expertise.

The right candidate for this role is a self-starting, curious, and inquisitive marketer who has developed a reputation for picking things up quickly, building proficiency, and adding to their toolbox over time. You'll work with some of the most driven and knowledgeable digital marketers in the industry, so bringing an analytical understanding of core digital marketing channels of search, social, email, and content with a performance mentality will be key to success. This is a high-growth role for an ambitious marketer looking to take the next step in their career.

You'll work alongside the CMO and Director of Marketing to:

  • Lead content marketing program, including our blog, marketing assets, and news analysis to extend our thought leadership in the digital marketing industry
  • Plan and launch revamped email marketing from content to nurturing campaigns
  • Establish paid and unpaid content partnerships with technology partners and digital publications
  • Lead social media strategy to deliver valuable content and discussion to the digital marketing community
  • Plan and create sales and marketing collateral with help of production designers
  • Assist with related programs aimed at growing Metric Theory's mindshare and
  • Drive direct, organic, and referral traffic growth to MetricTheory.com


ABOUT YOU
Qualifications

  • 3 years of marketing experience in a digital demand generation environment
  • At least 2 years of content planning, production, and distribution
  • A history of successfully copywriting on deadline
  • Experience updating website content via Wordpress CMS or equivalent
  • Leadership in either or both of email marketing/social media planning, execution, performance analysis, and audience growth
  • Comfortability editing and building basic creative with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Either direct experience in or cross-functional work with search and social advertising
  • Experience delivering against lead and/or new customer acquisition targets
  • Established strengths in organization and project management

Additional Useful Skills:

  • Management and/or training of junior marketing personnel
  • Experience using Google Analytics for data analysis
  • Work with sales teams and Salesforce CRM for lead analysis
  • Work in communications and PR acquisition
  • Event coordination and production in background a plus
  • Working with photography and video production vendors
