Job Description Summary
Predictive Marketing at automotiveMastermind is a talented group of individuals who focus on bringing innovative approaches to marketing. Our team creates and manages the production of B2C marketing campaigns on behalf of our automotive dealer and OEM partners.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our automotive brands. You will develop a strong understanding of each brand, including their CI guidelines and brand voice, to create content for new and existing campaigns. This role will work closely with the design team to ensure the creative stays fresh while adhering to compliance guidelines. You will be expected to collaborate with internal and external teams to understand the marketing initiatives at the OEM level and how these can be incorporated into our dealerships' marketing campaigns. An ideal candidate will be someone with at least three years of experience working on a marketing team.

Successful Marketing Manager will:

  • Manage a portfolio of automotive brands, while maintaining a working knowledge of CI guidelines, brand voice, and best practices, and applying these across all marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining, along with design team, shared repository of brand-specific CI guidelines
  • Proofread and perform quality-assurance checks of marketing campaigns and client data for portfolio of brands
  • Collaborate with design team on new campaign creative and updating existing direct mail and email campaigns
  • Ensure marketing campaigns achieve compliance approvals and document approval records
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of OEM marketing initiatives, such as sales events and new vehicle launches
  • Collaborate with development team to ensure campaign edits are properly implemented
  • Thoroughly proofread and approve campaigns and QA client data prior to deployment
  • Respond to all marketing-related inquiries and support requests, and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Assist in developing content for the company knowledge base including FAQs, best practices, and training materials related to marketing topics
  • Write strong marketing copy with concise and consistent messaging
  • Responsible for creating and managing brand-specific special/seasonal marketing campaigns
  • Develop strong understanding of campaign logic (how conditions trigger content), and the ability to create content rules for new campaigns.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and/or Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Drive, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult issues with professionalism, respond in a timely manner, and identify client needs
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment in resolving issues
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with attention to a high level of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Solid project management and time management skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and staff members across the company
  • Ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to research and document industry trends and best practices
  • Problem-solving aptitude


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience working on a B2C marketing team
  • Understanding of variable data within marketing campaigns

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required.
